The idea was there. It just needed a platform.

Web Design & Dev, Brand Refinement

Kiley Williams is a realtor with deep roots in the Ozarks and a genuine connection to the community she works in.

She came to us with a clear vision: a content platform that celebrates life in the region, builds an audience, and naturally supports her real estate business in the process.

The concept was solid. Local guides, articles, recipes, events, and home listings, all living under one roof, all working together. What she needed was someone to help her figure out what that actually required to build, and then build it.

We started with a consulting conversation and ended up designing and developing the whole thing from scratch. She told us there was no way she could have pulled it off on her own. We'd tend to agree.

THE OPPORTUNITY

A Squarespace site would have gotten Kiley online. It wouldn't have gotten her where she's going.

Her content vision had real structure to it: Local Guides, Articles, Recipes, Events, and Homes each served different audiences and needed to behave differently on the site. Cramming all of that into a single blog format was never going to work, and a template builder wasn't going to let her do what she needed to do with them.

The opportunity was to take a strong editorial vision and give it the technical foundation it deserved. That meant choosing the right platform, building it to scale, and making sure the branding felt as intentional as the content itself.

WHAT WE DID

We built the site from scratch on WordPress with Elementor, with custom post types for each content category: Local Guides, Articles, Recipes, Events, and Homes.

The brand was part of the conversation from day one. Kiley had the seed of an identity and needed help developing it into something she could actually use across different contexts. We refined the concept and delivered a suite of logos and badges that work digitally and in print.

On the technical side, we connected the site to Google Analytics, her Google Business profile, and SEO tooling, and got her newsletter infrastructure in place. The goal was a site she could grow and publish to herself, without needing a developer every time she wanted to add something new.

RESULTS

The final product successfully addressed the client’s goals—improving both visual identity and user experience. Early feedback showed an increase in engagement, stronger brand perception, and more intuitive interaction across devices.

The scalable design system allowed the internal team to continue building confidently, while the refreshed UI helped users better navigate and connect with the content. Stakeholders reported smoother onboarding, higher satisfaction rates, and a renewed sense of brand purpose.

The project stands as a strong example of how strategic design and collaboration can result in meaningful impact—balancing aesthetics with functionality and setting the stage for continued growth.

Disclaimer

I used AI to help write parts of this site, which I can admit sounds a lot like a chef ordering takeout. But the honest truth is that time spent polishing copy is time not spent on client work. I'd rather over-deliver on your project than impress you with my copywriting. If you can appreciate the irony and want to see how I can help elevate your online experience, reach out.
